The Role

This is a true Parts Advisor position -- the kind where your technical knowledge and customer skills really matter. You'll be the first point of contact for workshop professionals and retail customers who rely on you to identify the correct parts quickly and accurately.

Day-to-day you will:

Advise customers face-to-face, over the phone, and by email -- diagnosing the right part from description, VIN, registration, or application Source parts rapidly from our extensive UK and European supplier network Provide pricing, availability, and basic technical guidance Process orders, quotations, and deliveries with 100% accuracy Maintain and update stock records using Excel and our in-house systems Carry out regular stock checks and keep the parts department organised and presentable Support the team with general duties (receiving deliveries, keeping the counter and stores tidy, etc.)
We're busy, friendly, and hands-on -- everyone chips in, but the core of this role is knowledgeable parts advice and outstanding customer service, not just warehouse work.

Who We're Looking For

Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills (essential) Additional languages highly advantageous -- we serve a diverse customer base Strong automotive parts knowledge (you can tell a track-control arm from a track-rod end and know which alternator fits which engine code) Confident identifying parts from catalogues, EPC systems, or experience Excellent telephone manner and genuine customer focus Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer systems Previous motor-factor, dealership parts, or independent garage experience preferred but not essential -- full training given Highly organised with real attention to detail Full UK driving licence preferred

Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (no additional day off in lieu)
