We have an exciting opportunity opening for a experienced Parts Advisor or an individual with prior Motor Trade experience to join our team at Autoworld Northampton with availability to start immediately.

About us:

We are a local, family run, automotive parts distribution company established in the Northamptonshire area since 1983 when we opened our first premises on Daventry High street. We now operate solely through our 6000sqft warehouse situated in Northampton, Bunting road industrial estate. We pride ourselves in our service and experience that we have gathered over our 39 years in business. We supply and stock almost every component range from service kits, steering and suspension, exhaust systems and transmission components catering for almost every vehicle. We also stock a full range of car care products and accessories aswell as a vast range of professional automotive consumables and additives.

Job role:

Your main role will be sales based, answering calls from customers all over Northamptonshire and catering to there needs, from the information given from the customer you will proceed to find the appropriate components via MAM Autocat and process or quote said orders. You will also serve customers face to face at the Trade counter and provide helpful information if needed to help the customer in whatever it is they require.

At Autoworld we strongly believe in working as a team, so your role won't solely be based on sales. We have on average 14 deliveries a day ranging from single parcels to full pallets, you will be required to check off orders, and book them into the system, aswell as allocating orders to delivery invoices and sorting stock into a trolley to be put away in the warehouse.

You will also liaise with suppliers to chase orders aswell as place orders, fill out warranty forms and arrange collections if needed. No two days are the same, so we are looking for a proactive and highly motivated candidate to join our team.

Key skills:

Excellent customer service is key. Must also be punctual, and flexible to deal with different tasks. Proactive to be able to move with a fast pace work environment. Good knowledge and interest of automotive vehicles. Confident with using computer systems. Experience in Telesales. Experience using MAM software (or similar). Experience within a Motor Factor or experience within the Motor Trade (i.e. Service Advisor, Mechanic, Vehicle sales) Being a Team player. Full UK Driving Licence.

Hours & Holiday:

Full time working hours will be 8:30 - 5:30 PM Monday to Friday with the option to cover 1 to 2 Saturdays per month once settled in.

You will receive 4 weeks (20 working days) holiday per year as well as bank holidays.

Salary:

Salary ranges dependant on experience and can be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: 24,000.00-30,000.00 per year
