We are seeking a dedicated and organised Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be capable of managing parts inventory efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse clientele. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting customers, and supporting maintenance operations within our organisation.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their needs, providing exceptional phone etiquette and customer service.
Manage parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and organised efficiently using Cloud based software.
Process orders accurately and promptly, ensuring timely delivery or collection of parts.
Maintain detailed records of transactions, stock movements, and customer interactions.
Liaise with maintenance teams to support ongoing repair and servicing activities.
Provide technical advice on parts maintenance and compatibility where necessary.
Support the organisation of the parts department to optimise workflow and minimise delays.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner.
Experience with digital catalogues.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures related to vehicle or machinery parts is advantageous.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and stock management.
