LCV/HGV Parts Advisor

JDS Truck and Van based in Salford Quay Greater Manchester

Salary:

29,500.00+ per annum depending on experience

Hours:

9.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday 1 hour for lunch (unpaid)

8.00 am to 12pm on Saturday (1 in 4)

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are always met.

Key Responsibilities:

Working within a busy parts department Processing and upselling customer parts requirements Dealing with technical requests and using a host of product identification aids Interacting with customers that visit our premises Satisfying internal parts requirements and interacting with our busy workshop/service team Liaising with key suppliers Interacting with customers that visit our premises Building professional and trustworthy relationships with our customers Cover for Blackburn site as and when required Cover driver for Salford and Blackburn as and when required

Requirements:

Working knowledge of the motor vehicle sector or automotive trade Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous A friendly, can-do attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure Experience working to performance targets Knowledge of electronic parts catalogue to source and identify parts required Please note that a trainee position would be considered if a candidate has sufficient skills and knowledge Full driving licence is essential
