The Role

We are seeking a

reliable and customer-focused Parts Advisor

with

Goods Inwards experience

to join our busy Parts Department at our Gunthorpe site. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines accurate stock handling with a strong customer-facing element.

You will work across both

motorhome and caravan

operations, ensuring that parts are efficiently received, processed, and allocated. A key part of this role is delivering

exceptional customer service

--you will support customers and internal teams with parts enquiries, orders, and collections, both

in person at the counter and over the phone

.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver an excellent customer experience at all times, both face-to-face and over the phone Respond promptly to parts enquiries from retail customers, technicians, and other departments Identify and advise on the correct parts for repairs, replacements, and upgrades Process parts orders efficiently and keep customers updated on lead times and availability Handle returns and warranty queries with professionalism and accuracy Receive, inspect, and process all incoming deliveries Book goods into the stock control system and store appropriately Maintain a clean, organised, and customer-friendly front counter area Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues or discrepancies Support the workshop with accurate and timely parts allocation Assist with stocktakes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a

Parts Advisor

or in a

Goods Inwards/Stores

environment Strong background in

customer service

, ideally within automotive, motorhome, or caravan sectors Confident and professional when speaking with customers in person and over the phone A good working knowledge of parts and stock control systems Excellent communication skills and attention to detail A proactive, friendly team player who can also work independently Flexible and willing to support with

paid overtime

during busy periods
