Horizon Honda, Poole, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Parts & Aftersales Advisor to join our successful Aftersales team.

The Horizon Magna Group is a privately owned motor retail business established in Poole in 1971. We proudly represent Honda, Mazda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi across 12 dealerships located in Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, and Wiltshire.

The Role

As a Parts & Aftersales Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and Aftersales team by delivering an efficient parts, reception and administration service. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, both face-to-face and by phone, ensuring their needs are understood and handled promptly, professionally, and with exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately capture and record customer contact and vehicle details onto the DMS Secure parts sales and maximise departmental performance in line with manufacturer targets Ensure customer information is accurate to support strong parts sales and excellent service Process all paperwork in line with company and manufacturer policies, including warranty and payment handling Inspect parts prior to delivery and ensure timely and efficient dispatch Return incorrect or unrequired parts to minimise stock issues and obsolescence Identify, order, and receive parts accurately using manufacturer electronic catalogues and the DMS Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe parts department Build long-lasting customer relationships to support future business Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, escalating when required Support technicians by accurately capturing and communicating customer requirements Deliver outstanding customer service throughout all stages of the transaction Accurately process Vehicle Health Check (VHC) information Adhere to all company policies and health & safety regulations

Key Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong administrative and organisational skills Strong communication and influencing skills Excellent customer focus and empathy Proactive approach with good initiative and judgement Effective questioning and listening Self-motivation and strong teamwork Professional, calm, and tolerant manner Full Driving licence

Other information:

Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00 / 08:00 - 17:30 with a 1-hour unpaid break, Saturday 08:00 - 12:30 on a rotational basis Working location: Horizon Honda Poole, Ringwood Road, Poole, Dorset, BH12 4LT
