Read Motor Group are an established and trusted family-run dealership group across the East of England.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aftersales Advisor to join the team at Read Derby.

Responsibilities and Duties

Checking customers in/out. Upselling any VHC work reported and Service Plans Calling parts customers and booking in any customers. Ensuring customers are kept up to date. Explain and educate customers on the follow-up process to encourage response levels. Confident use of parts looking up and pricing. Good understanding of the parts department as a whole to assist aftersales department. Preparation of next days jobs ensuring all parts in stock and pre-picked/recalls checked/service plan quotes etc. Invoicing/ sales /warranty. Ensuring all card and cash payments are taken correctly and cash handling procedure followed. Checking all courtesy vehicles are on site are clean, fuelled and easily accessible ready for the next day. General housekeeping Liaising with the workshop for progress and technical advice Creating and loading bookings onto electronic diary efficiently and monitoring this function. Filing of Paperwork

Hours of work are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
