Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of parts to various locations, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Parts Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations within our warehouse and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to deliver parts to designated locations. Load and unload parts, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and reporting any discrepancies. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve delivery processes and efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) when loading and unloading parts. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with colleagues and customers. Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
