We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that our customers receive the right parts for their needs. This role requires a proactive approach to customer service, as well as the ability to manage inventory effectively.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate parts for their vehicles or equipment. Maintain an organised inventory of parts, ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary. Utilise Microsoft Excel to track inventory data and generate reports. Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and servicing. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Stay updated on new products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing inventory data and reporting. Excellent organisational skills to maintain an efficient workspace and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in a similar role or within the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential. A proactive attitude towards learning about new products and services related to parts advising.
