Role Overview

Hilton Garage is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Parts Specialist

to support our internal workshop and service teams. This role is entirely internal-facing and plays a critical part in ensuring technicians have timely access to the correct parts at the best possible cost, helping maintain efficient workflow and high service standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Source and cross-reference automotive parts across approved suppliers to achieve the best value, availability, and suitability for internal repair and service work. Accurately cost parts to vehicles and job cards using the Hilton Garage dealer management system (DMS). Manage day-to-day operations of the parts storeroom, ensuring it remains clean, organised, and easy to navigate. Maintain appropriate stock levels of commonly used service and repair parts to minimise delays and improve workshop efficiency. Liaise closely with technicians and service staff to prioritise parts ordering in line with daily workloads and planned jobs. Receive, check, and book in parts deliveries, ensuring accuracy against orders and invoices. Identify opportunities to improve parts processes, stock control, and internal efficiency.
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an automotive parts, workshop, or dealership environment preferred. Strong understanding of automotive parts identification and supplier cross-referencing. Confident using dealer management systems or similar stock and costing software. Highly organised with good attention to detail. Ability to work independently while supporting wider internal teams. Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on efficiency and cost control.
