About Us:

At Car & Commercial Solutions Ltd, we specialise in designing and building bespoke vehicles, including chassis conversions for Luton vans, dropsides, tippers, and custom vehicles for emergency services, police, and military sectors. As our company expands, we are looking for an organised and proactive Stores Person / Parts Person to manage our parts inventory and ensure our production team has everything they need to operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Inventory:

Ensure all parts and materials are accurately logged, stored, and readily available for production.

Stock Control:

Perform regular stock checks, maintain an organised inventory, and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.

Receiving Deliveries:

Check items against delivery notes to ensure accuracy.

Order Fulfilment:

Pick and prepare parts for production staff and ensure timely availability of required materials.

Placing Orders:

Liaise with suppliers to order stock as needed, ensuring best prices and timely deliveries.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and part movements within the company.

Communication:

Work closely with the production team to ensure they have the necessary parts and materials to meet project deadlines.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a stores/parts management role is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Good computer skills to manage digital stock control systems and place orders online. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
