Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Adhere to food safety guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety practices. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A willingness to help others, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration in all aspects of the role.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
