Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food items are prepared according to food safety standards and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage the till effectively using basic maths skills. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods while managing time effectively.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a passion for coffee is a must. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to foster positive interactions with customers and colleagues alike.
