Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending techniques. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. This role requires effective time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Provide assistance to colleagues during busy periods to maintain high service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices within a restaurant setting. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Basic maths skills for cash handling and drink preparation measurements. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Pay: 11.60 per hour
