We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero & Sage is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of accounts payable.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Prepare and submit VAT returns for clients and other compliance documentation.
Manage payroll and assist with tax preparation as required.
Generate financial reports to provide insights into the customer's financial status.
Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
Liaise with clients to address queries and provide financial insights.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, or Xero.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
