Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable & receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in Xero and a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
Prepare financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software Xero is essential.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
