We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero, and will be responsible for maintaining financial data, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of financial data.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Assist in implementing improvements to accounting processes and systems.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
