Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Reef Zlements. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to provide quality aquatic products and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable. Utilize accounting software such as Xero, or QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Assist with budgting and forecasting activities as needed. Prepare and run monthly payrol. Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns. Prepare and file end of year accounts. Support the team with any financial queries or issues that may arise.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or QuickBooks). Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: 12.21-23.99 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
