Responsibilities

Operate box lorries safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Help load and unload cargo, securing it appropriately for transport. Communicate effectively with traffic office and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle at all times.

Experience

2 years minimum experience as a London based Class 2 delivery driver is essential. A valid commercial driving licence is required, along with a current CPC card and tachograph card. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate deliveries. Excellent communication skills are important for liaising with clients and team members effectively.
