Part-time Communications and Marketing Coordinator, \xc2\xa335K - \xc2\xa340K FTE Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding. 18 months\' contract | Home-based or hybrid | 22. 5 hours per week We are recruiting a part-time Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the Healthcare Infection Society which is based in central London. The Healthcare Infection Society (HIS) is a small, specialist membership organisation that aims to advance knowledge and disseminate information about the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs). This exciting role is a great opportunity to join an enthusiastic, committed and engaged team of staff, committees and their 1,300 members who are experts in the prevention and control of HCAIs. The post holder will be an experienced communications and marketing professional with excellent skills in managing social media and other communications channels. You will work closely with all members of the Society, staff team and volunteers to deliver marketing and communications plans for a range of Society activities. Some responsibilities include: Implementing marketing and communications plans to support the promotion of society activities such as grants, awards, podcasts, webinars etc. Carrying out regular website audits and using the website content management system to make changes to the content and imagery of the website Developing a HIS social media strategy and managing the HIS social media channels Monitoring and reporting on social media and website statistics Collating content, designing, and sending out members\' news emails Developing marketing materials for all HIS activities We are looking for: An experienced Marketing/Comms professional ideally from a healthcare related membership organisation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience of managing social media and digital communication channels Experience of managing email packages such as Mailchimp Task-driven, a self-starter with good time management, attention to detail and the ability to manage own workload Ability to work effectively in a busy and dynamic environment Working knowledge of GDPR Technical IT skills Benefits include: This will be a varied role that offers a generous holiday allowance of 30 days (18 days pro rata), employee perks scheme, up to 7% pension contributions, flexible working and a generous training budget, among other benefits.
