to support content production across a diverse group of businesses operating in the
car hire, commercial insurance and accident claims
. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and has a passion for visual storytelling, with experience filming in dynamic environments including workshops, customer-facing offices, and on-location shoots with vehicles.
You will be responsible for capturing and producing a wide range of video and photo content--from interviews and how-to explainers to car showcases and behind-the-scenes stories--used for both internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, shoot video and photography content for websites, social media, marketing campaigns, and internal training platforms.
Produce both short-form and long-form content, such as:
Customer testimonials and stories
Staff interviews and day-in-the-life features
Educational / how-to / knowledge-based videos
Car and vehicle showcases (including new model walkthroughs)
Short social media content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
Work closely with founders and marketing leads to develop content ideas aligned with brand goals.
Edit and format content for use across different platforms, ensuring consistency in quality and messaging.
Occasionally support livestreaming or real-time content capture for events or announcements.
Maintain an organised content archive and backup system.
Requirements:
Strong portfolio demonstrating previous video production.
Proficient in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
A sharp eye for framing, lighting, and sound in a range of environments.
Comfortable filming in garages, offices, and on the move with minimal direction.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects across industries.
Access to own filming equipment preferred (camera, mic, lighting); support available if needed.
Basic photography skills desirable.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in the automotive, insurance, or professional services space.
Familiarity with short-form social video trends and formats.
Drone operation or drone license (a bonus, not essential).
Skills in motion graphics, animation, or Canva for enhancing edits.
Working Hours:
Part-time - 2 to 3 days per week (schedule flexible based on project demands)
Compensation:
Competitive day rate or monthly retainer, based on experience and equipment
