Part Time Drama Teacher Self Employed

Pangbourne, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Attention inspiring Drama Teachers of Reading and West Berkshire!

Are you looking for a fun, inclusive and supportive drama school to work with? Perhaps you're new to the area?

I am looking for freelance drama teachers to join our committed team at StageAbility Berkshire to deliver after-school clubs and classes across the local area in schools and in the community.

I have a couple of vacancies for after-school clubs to fill for a September start. One of these is in a village near Pangbourne on a Monday so a car is a must! I am also always looking for cover teachers - see hours below.

At StageAbility, we believe that every child can benefit from a drama class, particularly the most shy! Our clubs and classes focus on developing confidence and self-esteem first and foremost, so much of our class is based around fun games and drama activities.

Requirements of the role:

- Experience in teaching drama to children aged 4-11.

- Enhanced DBS certificate. (StageAbility can process this for right candidate.)

- First Aid certification is preferred

- Safeguarding certificate

- Available weekday afternoons between 3-5pm (after-school clubs) and/or between 5pm - 8.30pm (community classes).
