We're looking for a warm, reliable

English tutor

to join our small, friendly team at Clara James Tutoring.

This role is perfect if you enjoy variety in your workday, meeting new people, and making a real difference to children's confidence and learning. You'll be travelling between lessons in

Aylesbury

and nearby villages such as

Stone, Haddenham, and Waddesdon

, working with families in their own homes.

What's involved:

Tutoring mainly in the evenings and at weekends Preparing your own engaging lessons (we provide access to a large online resource library you can use and adapt) Building rapport with students and parents Supporting children with a range of needs -- experience with

SEND learners

would be a real advantage, but is not essential Working with primary and/or secondary students in English

You don't need to be a qualified teacher -- just someone with a strong command of English, a passion for helping children succeed, and the confidence to work independently.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 21.35-30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 6 per week
