Job Summary

ML Photonic is seeking a professional, discreet, and dependable part-time driver to support the CEO with a mix of executive and personal driving duties. This is a trusted role suited to someone who takes pride in safe, smooth driving and understands the importance of confidentiality, reliability, and flexibility.

The position involves ad-hoc and pre-planned driving, including business travel, airport transfers, and occasional family commitments such as school runs. A company vehicle is provided, and the role is structured to reward availability as well as time worked.

This opportunity would suit an experienced executive or chauffeur driver looking for stable, part-time work, a respectful working environment, and a long-term arrangement rather than short-term or gig-based driving.

Responsibilities:

Driving the CEO to meetings, events, and appointments School runs and family transport when required Airport transfers (primarily Edinburgh) Waiting during meetings or flights as required Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean, safe, and roadworthy Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times

About You

Full UK driving licence with a clean record Minimum 5 years' driving experience, ideally in a professional capacity Proven reliability, discretion, and strong timekeeping Flexible availability and willingness to work ad-hoc hours Calm, courteous, and professional presentation Eligible for PVG check (required due to school runs) Willing to sign a confidentiality / NDA agreement Permission to work in the UK Local knowledge

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience as an executive, chauffeur, or private family driver Advanced driving qualification desired First Aid certification Experience driving high-value or executive vehicles
