Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Part-Time General Practitioner

to deliver high-quality private GP services while contributing to the development of clinical quality, governance and long-term service growth.

This role is ideal for a GP who enjoys

private practice

, values longer consultations, and wants to work in a forward-thinking environment without NHS pressures.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, patient-centred GP consultations in a

private clinical setting

Manage acute presentations, chronic conditions and preventive healthcare Conduct face-to-face and remote consultations where appropriate Order investigations, interpret results and make private referrals Maintain accurate and high-quality clinical records Deliver care in line with GMC standards and best clinical practice

Quality & Governance (Opportunity for Growth)

Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities Support development of chronic disease management pathways Contribute to clinical governance, learning from incidents and complaints Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes

Person Specification

Essential

GMC registered General Practitioner with licence to practise Completion of

CCT / GP training

UK GP experience

Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills Commitment to high-quality private patient care

Desirable

Experience in private practice Interest in clinical governance, service development or leadership Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

Working Pattern

Flexible part-time hours to suit both clinic needs and clinician availability Evening and/or weekend availability required due to extended opening hours On-site role based at Luton Medical & Dental Clinic

Pay: 85.00-95.00 per hour
