Job Overview:

We are looking for skilled Part-Time Chefs and Assistants to support our culinary operations. This role offers flexible hours and is perfect for individuals passionate about food and looking for part-time employment in a dynamic environment. The successful candidates will work together to prepare and serve delicious hog roasts/BBQ's for our clients. We do outdoor catering and are building our team for a busy season. The most important attribute is the chefs attitude, we will provide training.

Responsibilities:

For Hog Roast Chef:

Prepare, season, and cook hog roasts according to recipes and guidelines. Monitor cooking times and temperatures for food safety and quality. Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Collaborate with the team to meet customer expectations

Responsibilities:

For Hog Chef Assistant:

Assist in hog roast preparation, including seasoning and cooking. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization. Support the Chef in food preparation and service. Help with event delivery general duties.

Requirements:

For Hog Roast Chef:

Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with hog roast experience. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Requirements: For Chef Assistant:

Culinary experience or training is a plus. Willingness to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks. Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: 13.46-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 45 per week
