We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic for children and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive cleaning of Nursery rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Adhere to established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Support in daily preparation of food for tea time and cleaning down the kitchen at end of day
Experience
Previous experience in housekeeping or food prep is preferred, with a focus on Children's Nurseries ideally.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of COSHH and Food Hygiene is desirable.
