Dundonald House is looking to recruit an experienced part time housekeeper to work alongside our dedicated team, caring for older people with a diagnosis of dementia.
You will be required to complete PVG Disclosure Scotland application, and complete relevant online training. Part time post available
2/3 days per week stakeholder pension in house training with support experience preferred but not essential
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy rooms, corridors, and common areas
- Change bed linen and towels
- Dust and polish furniture
- Vacuum carpets and rugs
- Ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department
- Follow health and safety guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a care home or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with service users and colleagues
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 17 - 25.5 per week
