Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

1 year minimum experience in a similar role is required.

We have 6 guest rooms all En-Suite as well as our 2 bedroom lodge which is attached to the pub.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as required, ensuring that all items are stocked appropriately. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain an organised cleaning cart and ensure all cleaning supplies are replenished. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required. Experience in a hotel environment or as a cook would be advantageous. Good physical stamina as the role involves standing for long periods and performing manual tasks.
