We're looking for a friendly, hands-on
HR & Recruitment Coordinator
who's happy to get involved in all aspects of HR -- from recruitment and appraisals to preparing legal documents and ensuring everything is compliant and well-organised.
What You'll Be Doing
Organising appraisals and tracking performance goals.
Managing holidays, absences, and employee records.
Keeping
all HR paperwork and documents neatly organised and up to date.
Preparing
HR letters and legal documents
(contracts, offers, updates, etc.) accurately and in line with UK employment law.
Being the first point of contact for staff questions and HR queries.
Posting job adverts, screening CVs,
arranging and conducting interviews
.
Supporting onboarding for new starters.
Organising and managing DBS checks for employees.
Checking
timesheets
to ensure recorded hours are correct and that
engineers' overtime is paid accurately and on time.
Making sure bonuses and pay changes are processed correctly.
Liaising with finance on payroll matters.
Researching and recommending employee
benefits
(e.g., wellbeing perks, health plans, training options).
Helping to improve HR processes and suggest new ideas as we grow.
What We're Looking For
A few years of experience in HR or recruitment.
Friendly, approachable, and professional.
Comfortable
carrying out interviews
and assessing candidates.
Highly organised and detail-oriented -- you love tidy systems and accurate records.
Confident handling confidential information.
Knowledge of
UK employment law and HR compliance
(or willingness to learn).
Comfortable using spreadsheets or simple HR software.
Flexible and proactive -- happy to work independently and manage your own time.
Experience managing or coordinating
DBS checks
is a plus.
fluent in Polish is a big plus
