We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure hygiene standards are met Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, including work surfaces, floors, and storage areas Supporting the team with waste disposal and recycling procedures Restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is stored correctly after use Assisting with general cleaning duties to maintain health and safety standards within the kitchen environment Supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen during service periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking skills are advantageous Familiarity with kitchen safety and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
