Are you an experienced lettings professional who enjoys running a portfolio properly, building strong landlord relationships and seeing things work well because you are on top of them?
We are a well-established, independent lettings and property management business based in Gravesend, and we're looking for a confident, experienced part-time Lettings Property Manager to take ownership of a well-established portfolio of around 80 properties.
The majority of the portfolio is held by one long-standing client, meaning this is a role focused on quality management, consistency and trusted relationships, rather than high-pressure volume or churn.
Following a full handover, you will be trusted to run this portfolio independently -- making informed decisions, keeping everything running smoothly, and genuinely making a difference.
This role is ideal for someone returning to work who wants sensible hours, autonomy, and a role that values experience and judgement.
Hours
Monday to Friday: 9.30am - 3.00pm
Unpaid 30-minute lunch break
5 paid hours per day (25 paid hours per week)
Office-based role (not remote)
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same. You'll be at the heart of the business, responsible for:
Taking full ownership of a portfolio of approximately 80 properties
Carrying out property visits and inspections
Coordinating repairs and maintenance with trusted contractors
Keeping landlords informed, reassured and up to date
Marketing properties when they return to the market
Handling enquiries and progressing new lets
Supporting new landlord take-ons
Monitoring rent receipts and releasing daily rent runs via our property management software
Proactively managing arrears, working firmly but fairly
Liaising with appointed legal advocates and supporting court action where required
Ensuring compliance, accuracy and strong administration throughout
Following the handover period, this is a role where you are trusted to get on with the job, with support available but no micromanagement.
Who This Role Is For
This role will suit someone who:
Has solid lettings / property management experience
Ideally holds ARLA / Propertymark or equivalent qualifications
Has a clean driving licence
Is confident managing rent collection and arrears
Enjoys responsibility, autonomy and problem-solving
Likes working in a small, friendly team where everyone matters
Takes pride in running a portfolio well
This role is not suitable for trainees or juniors.
