Short Stay Harrogate is a premium property management company specialising in short-lets and holiday homes across Harrogate and the surrounding area. We combine hospitality expertise with local knowledge to deliver exceptional experiences for guests and homeowners alike.

We're looking for a Part-Time Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our online presence, content creation, and digital marketing. This is a creative and strategic role ideal for someone who can produce beautiful designs, craft engaging content, and deliver measurable results through paid advertising and lead generation.

The Role



You'll be responsible for managing our social media channels, creating content, and running digital campaigns to grow brand awareness, increase bookings, and attract new homeowners. You'll have creative freedom to plan, design, and execute marketing initiatives that reflect Harrogate's premium lifestyle and the quality of our homes.

Key Responsibilities



Social Media & Content Creation



Create and manage engaging photo, video, and graphic content within our properties and across the Harrogate area for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Work collaboratively with other content creators to brainstorm and execute meaningful content for social media. Design on-brand visuals for posts, stories, and ads using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Plan and manage a content calendar highlighting our properties, local lifestyle, and guest experiences. Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and analyse social media performance.

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation



Develop and manage paid ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and TikTok to generate homeowner leads and drive bookings. Design and optimise ad creatives, landing pages, and lead forms. Track campaign performance (CPL, CTR, ROAS) and make data-driven improvements.

Marketing & Brand Growth



Support email marketing, newsletters, and website content. Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community partners. Develop new ideas for collaborations and promotions that strengthen the brand. Stay ahead of marketing and design trends to keep Short Stay Harrogate's presence fresh and engaging.

What We're Looking For



A do'er with creative confidence! 2+ years' experience in

marketing, social media, or content creation

.

Strong graphic design skills

(Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar). Experience running

paid ads and lead generation campaigns

. Creative eye for content, visuals, and brand tone. Organised, proactive, and confident working independently.

Based in Harrogate or nearby, or willing to travel regularly.

General knowledge of the Harrogate area
