Nursery Staff who can save the day

At Cavendish Lodge Nursery, Somers House, we aim to provide our children with exceptional care - and this all starts with our wonderful welcoming practitioners.

We are searching for part-time lunch cover staff to join and support our Cavendish Lodge family. Are you between 17-70 and looking for a permanent role? All you need to bring with you is patience, kindness and the willingness to get involved with whatever adventures the day may bring!

Part-time work between 9 and 3 to assist with lunch and sleep routines. We can help you grow, working closely with a training provider to support your professional development in whatever ways you choose, whether it's becoming a keen first aider or enhancing your understanding of baby development. Your role will include;

To get stuck in and play with the children, whether this is on the floor with babies, digging in the sand pit with our toddlers or zooming around the garden after the pre-schoolers!

Supporting the team to care for and guide the children in their learning journey and development.

The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, show initiative in everything they do, strive to reach their potential and show an enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude, supporting their colleagues as part of a bustling team.

As we are committed to safeguarding, successful applicants will need to provide 'right to work' in the UK documentation, undertake an enhanced DBS check and obtain at least two satisfactory references before commencing employment.
