Extreme Largeness has been trading since the early nineties and now has 3 established shops in the Northern Quarter's iconic Afflecks building. Each shop has its own unique brand identity: Occult, The Manchester Shop and Luna. We sell a whole range of products including jewellery, fashion accessories & lifestyle products. We are a team of over 30 staff during busy times. As well as the 3 physical shops, each brand has its own website. We also wholesale and manufacture our own products. We're a dynamic, busy and vibrant company with a lot going on!
The Role
We are looking for a part-time office administrator with experience in HR processes and administrative tasks to work in our Hilton Street office who will report to the company director. Roles & responsibilities will include:
Weekly preparation of payroll report to send to accountants
Monitoring the rota system to make sure it is correct including holiday and sickness absence management
Managing the onboarding process for new employees including issuing contracts, adding to company systems etc.
Updating staff contracts as and when necessary
Reviewing and updating company policies as and when necessary
Preparing annual sickness & leave report
Managing the appraisal process e.g. setting up meetings, checking action plans have been completed
Management of the company purchase order log
Helping the company director with reconciliation reports and other admin tasks
Full training and support will be given
Who Are You?
Super organised and efficient
A confident and excellent communicator, both written and verbally. The job will involve speaking to staff across all of our different sites
Proficient in using Google Workspace
3+ years experience in a similar role
Meticulous attention to detail is key
Have a creative approach to problem solving
Experience with RotaCloud or similar rota software would be advantageous
Self-motivated, diligent and proactive
Details & Benefits:
7.5 hours a day / 3 days a week (one of which must be Monday)
27,000 per year pro rata
28 days' holiday pro rata, rising to 31 days after 3 years' continuous employment
