Book Publishers Looking for Part-Time Office Manager in their London Head Office Your new company This company is a world leading independent, liberal publishing house, publishing almost 2000 titles since being founded over 50 years ago Your new role This role is a Part-time, Permanent Position at their Soho office. You will work a flexible 28 hours over 5 days. Managing all elements of the building maintenance, including the utilities, cleaning, and security Being a key holder, managing all other key holders Supporting the team with general administration, e. g. managing petty cash, stationery, keeping the office clean and tidy Mail and courier management: receiving and allocating postal and courier deliveries; keeping track of postal requirements and regulations, and updating the office on new procedures; despatching books to authors or sales representatives Meeting and greeting all visitors: be a welcoming host, offering refreshments; ensuring the adherence of some basic security measures Answering the phone, taking messages, and checking voicemail The general day-to-day management of the office Maintenance and management of the libraries Adhoc diary and travel management Organising any team socials, i. e. , Summer and Christmas party Maintaining the company\'s physical and digital filing system: filing hardcopies of titles in office archive; scanning historic company records Managing and reviewing office costs effectively Helping to maintain all IT, software and telecoms across the business Facilities management Supporting the Senior Management team in promoting a positive and supportive work environment and company Office refurbishment duties: liaising with external contractors, office maintenance What you\'ll need to succeed Comfortable and confident in Mac OS, Office 365, Google Workspace and Xero Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism Fluent in written and spoken English Interested in the creative industries 2 years minimum experience in a similar role is essential Experience in office refurbishments is preferred but not essential What you\'ll get in return 30 Days Annual Leave; office closure between Christmas Eve and New Year\'s Day; Summer Hours every Friday from start of June to end of August.
