We are looking for a highly organised, discreet, and proactive
Personal Assistant
to support a couple with a range of personal, administrative, and property-related responsibilities. This part-time role ( minimum 2 days per week with additional work available in the future) is based near
Andover
, with some flexibility for remote work.
The successful candidate must be
fluent in English and have some working knowledge of French
, and capable of managing diverse life logistics including travel, household administration, and coordination with both a
residence in France
and a
school in Ghana
.
Key Responsibilities
Personal & Lifestyle Support
Manage appointments, calendars, reminders, and general life organisation
Book travel, accommodations, and create itineraries for personal and family trips
Run errands and handle ad hoc personal tasks
Household, Property & International Coordination
Oversee day-to-day household organisation in the UK, including scheduling maintenance and managing household staff or services
Coordinate all matters related to a
residence in France
, including:
Liaising with French-speaking service providers
Organising cleaning, maintenance, and seasonal prep
Managing bills, insurance, and property documentation
Support administration and logistics related to a
school in Ghana
, such as:
Coordinating with school leadership and administrative staff
Managing documentation, travel plans, and communication
Supporting logistics for visits, shipments, or projects involving the school
Administrative Tasks
Handle some personal correspondence, emails, and calls on behalf of the family
Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
Manage household accounts, invoices, subscriptions, and liaise with accountants or legal advisors as required
Requirements
Fluent in
English
(spoken and written) with a working knowledge of French ideally to at least A level standard
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role
Strong administrative, organisational, and multitasking skills
High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and initiative
Confident using digital tools, online platforms, and communication apps
Must be
based within 30-40 minutes drive of Andover
, Hampshire, and available for in-person work
Preferred Experience
Some experience managing multiple properties or supporting international projects
Some understanding of French administrative systems, although training will be available
Full UK driving licence and own transport
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly across time zones , although main connections in France and Ghana are only 1 hour different to UK time
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 15,000.00-30,000.00 per year
