SMS Phone Repair is looking for a reliable and experienced technician to join our team in

Chard

on a

part-time basis (28 hours per week)

. This role involves a combination of

mobile phone repairs

,

front desk IT support

, and

remote technical assistance

.

We're after someone with solid hands-on repair experience and strong customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting both hardware and software issues and handling customer interactions confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair smartphones (screens, batteries, ports, etc.) Assist walk-in customers with tech-related issues Provide remote IT support and troubleshooting (phone/email) Manage front desk duties, including customer intake and updates Keep accurate records of repairs and inventory

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in phone repair Good knowledge of iOS and Android devices Experience with basic IT support and remote assistance Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within a team Must be available to work

Saturdays (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Working Hours:

28 hours per week

Saturday hours required: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Remaining hours to be scheduled Monday to Friday (flexible)
