We are now looking for a Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly office team. This is a junior role, and full training will be provided, making it ideal for someone looking to start or develop a career in accounts and administration.

The Role

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day purchase ledger tasks and provide overflow reception support during busy periods. You will work closely with the accounts and admin team and receive full training in all systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Ledger (Training Provided):

- Inputting supplier invoices onto the accounting system
- Matching invoices to purchase orders
- Assisting with supplier statement checks and reconciliations
- Supporting payment runs and general accounts administration
- Maintaining organised and accurate records

Reception & Office Support:

- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them appropriately
- Greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the wider team

About You

- Some previous office or administrative experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good attention to detail and basic numeracy skills
- Confident and polite telephone manner
- Reliable, organised, and able to work well as part of a team
