About the Role - Purchase Ledger Clerk (Part-Time)
We're seeking a detail-oriented and organised
Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
to join our busy finance team at
Drive Motor Retail Nuneaton
.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger, processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently while supporting the wider accounts department with administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities include:
Processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly
Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Preparing and processing supplier payments
Managing invoice queries and liaising with suppliers and internal departments
Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting where required
Maintaining organised and up-to-date ledger records
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a reliable and methodical individual with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to their work.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a
purchase ledger
or
accounts payable
role (essential)
Strong numeracy and administrative skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
A positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to supporting the wider finance team
Experience within the
automotive
or
retail
sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
