We are relocating to a brand-new office in Saltley area of Birmingham. We expect to open very soon; our builders are working tirelessly to create a special environment for our clients and staff.
We require a part-time admin assistant. Their role will include (and not limited to):
Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Makes travel arrangements for senior staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and effective communication.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
The working Hours are fixed - Monday and Thursday 10am to 5pm, there will be a one-hour lunch break and training will be provided. Further hours may be available for the right candidate. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
1) Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
2) Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
3) Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
4) Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results. Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
5) Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication. 6) Provides information by answering questions and requests.
7) Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
8)Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
9) Keeping the office clean and tidy.QualificationsApplicants are required to have GCSE'S in English and Math's at C (grade 4) or above (or equivalent).
This is a paid position; the ideal candidate can be expected to be paid at minimum wage. The applicant must be a citizen of the UK or have the right of abode. Please note we do not offer sponsorship and this role is not suitable for students! The applicant must have a right to work in the UK.
