The Opportunity:



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Recruitment Consultant to join our team and drive business development and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who is passionate about recruitment, building relationships, and contributing to the success of a growing business. Your primary focus will be on identifying and securing new client opportunities and placing qualified lifeguards in open positions. As part of a small team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of the business, offering a diverse and rewarding work experience. This role will be based at our office in Cambourne.

Key Responsibilities:



Business Development:


? Proactively identify and research potential new clients within our target market.

? Develop and execute strategies to generate new business leads through various channels (e.g., networking, cold outreach, online research).

? Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their staffing needs.

? Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.

? Negotiate terms and agreements with new clients.

? Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.

Recruitment & Placement:


? Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for lifeguard positions.

? Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified lifeguard candidates.

? Screen and interview candidates to assess their skills, experience, and suitability for open roles.

? Conduct background checks and verify certifications as required.

? Present qualified candidates to clients and facilitate the interview process.

? Manage offer negotiations and placement of candidates.

? Build and maintain a strong network of lifeguard professionals.

General Business Support (as needed):


? Contribute to marketing initiatives, such as social media engagement, content creation, or website updates.

? Assist with operational tasks, such as scheduling or administrative support.

? Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions at the Cambourne office.

? Undertake other tasks as required to support the growth and efficiency of the business.

Qualifications and Experience:



Proven experience (min. 3 years) as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally with experience in hospitality, leisure, healthcare. Demonstrated success in business development and generating new client relationships. Strong understanding of the recruitment process and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using recruitment software/ATS and CRM systems. A proactive and results-oriented approach. Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, growing business. Must be able to commute to and work from our office in Cambourne, Cambridge.

Desirable Skills/Experience:



Experience recruiting for temporary or contract roles. Knowledge of the lifeguarding industry or related sectors. Experience with marketing and social media.
