We are a family run business, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales through exceptional service. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about helping customers find the right products and solutions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that suit their requirements. Assisting customers with jewellery repairs. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is displayed effectively. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. Assist in managing inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is an advantage but not essential, full training will be given. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. A keen eye for detail and an ability to maintain high standards of presentation in the store. Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management. A proactive attitude towards learning the products and services offered by the company.
