Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is well-displayed and stocked. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience. Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: 10.38-12.21 per hour
