Job Opportunity: Passenger Assistants (Home to School Transport) - Essex & Surrounding Areas
NEXUS Transport Services is looking for caring and dependable Passenger Assistants to support children and vulnerable students on their journeys to and from school, college, or day centres.
We are currently recruiting in Basildon and Benfleet, with coverage across areas around Essex and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and comfort of students with special educational needs (SEN)
Support students during boarding and exiting the vehicle
Promote a calm, friendly environment during travel
Communicate with families and report any concerns to our team.
Requirements:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to undergo training (First Aid/Medical if needed)
Right to work in the UK and pass an enhanced DBS check
Flexibility for morning and afternoon shifts (term-time only).
