About Us



We are a family-run group operating

children's day nurseries

,

cafes

, and launching an exciting new

children's book

on Amazon next week. We're looking for a skilled and organised

Social Media Executive

to take full ownership of our digital presence across all brands -- not just posting, but planning, reporting, and creating high-quality content.

What You'll Do



Develop & own our social media strategy

across the nurseries, cafes, and the book brand.

Create professional content

(photo, video, graphics) using recognised design tools such as

Canva

,

Adobe Creative Cloud

, or equivalent.

Film and edit short-form video content

(Reels, TikTok, Shorts) to a consistent standard.

Plan, schedule, and publish content

using professional scheduling software (e.g.,

Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, SocialBee

).

Maintain and manage a detailed monthly content calendar

across multiple brands.

On-site content capture

at all locations, Nottinghamshire and borders (with correct permissions and safeguarding compliance).

Monitor analytics and produce monthly performance reports

, with insights and recommendations.

Engage with our online community

: reply to messages, comments, and foster relationships with parents, customers, and followers.

Support digital campaigns

, including promotions, events, and especially the upcoming book launch.

Assist with basic website updates and email marketing

, where required.

What We're Looking For



We're looking for a true digital marketing professional, NOT just someone who uses social media personally.

Essential:



Proven experience managing

brand

social media accounts. Strong skills in

graphic design

(Canva or similar). Confident in

video creation and editing

. Experience using

professional scheduling tools

(Buffer, Hootsuite, SocialBee, Later, etc.). Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone across brands and speak in the company voice. Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple content streams at once. Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the digital function. Comfortable travelling to multiple sites within Nottinghamshire, Grantham and Melton Mowbray.

Desirable:



Experience within early years, hospitality, family brands, or children's content. Understanding of safeguarding requirements when capturing content around children. Experience running paid ads (Meta/Instagram), SEO basics, or email marketing tools.
