We are seeking a passionate, driven SELF EMPLOYED Sport Coach to join our fantastic team. As a member of the team you will be delivering a range from Before School Clubs, Lunch Clubs and After School Clubs at Primary Schools.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate Primary School Children of all ages and skill levels. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for developing training programmes, enhancing athletic performance, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities
Design and implement training sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and techniques related to the specific sport.
Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants.
Organise and lead practice sessions, drills, and competitive events.
Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding training schedules and athlete development.
Experience
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential.
Strong knowledge of the specific sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Experience working with diverse groups of individuals is an advantage.

Hours and Areas
Must be willing to work in the areas where we coach (Billericay and Brentwood)
Term time hours will be between 07.30am - 16.30pm (Term Time)
Qualifications/Skills
At least 1 years sports coaching experience in a Primary School settings - working with children from all backgrounds and leading sessions without support.
Ability and commitment to continue developing knowledge and skills within sports coaching.
At least 1 years sports coaching experience in a Primary School settings - working with children from all backgrounds and leading sessions without support.
Recognised NGB Level 1 certificate in Sports Coaching.
Full UK driving license, has own transport.
Valid Essex Enhanced DBS certificate, Valid Safeguarding and First Aid certificate.
Willing to undertake training and professional development where necessary.
Excellent communication skills.
Prioritise the safety and well being of the young children they work with
Are organised and punctual
Can work alone or as part of a team
