Part-Time Telesales Executive for a Leading Publisher
Are you passionate about books and looking to kickstart your career in sales? We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Telesales Executive to join our dynamic team at a famous publishing house, based in Basildon.
Position: Part-Time Telesales Executive
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: Basildon
Salary: 24,000 per annum (pro-rata) + uncapped commission

Role Overview:
As a Telesales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth for our esteemed publishing business. You will be responsible for promoting our latest titles, engaging with customers over the phone, and securing orders from new, existing, and lapsed customers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively reach out to prospective customers to introduce our publications and negotiate sales/subscriptions agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall success and growth of the business.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in telesales (b2c or b2b) role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and persuasive telephone manner.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
