The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Temporary Cooking Instruction Laboratory Specialist Cleaner. This role is essential in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of our cooking instruction laboratory, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all participants.

Contract Duration: 10-12 Weeks

Working Hours: 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Start Date: June 2025

Key Responsibilities

Job Overview - Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize all surfaces in the cooking instruction laboratory, including countertops, sinks, and cooking equipment. Dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with laboratory protocols. Notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent contamination and ensure the well-being of all laboratory users.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You Will:

Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, preferably in a laboratory or kitchen environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.

Location:

You will be based at our Great Burgh office in KT18 5XT, Epsom, Surrey.
