Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised academic support to students in Maths, English and Science. The successful candidate will assist learners in developing their understanding, confidence, and skills through engaging and tailored tutoring sessions. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys while fostering a positive learning environment.
Duties
Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in designated subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Assess students' current knowledge levels and identify areas for improvement. Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials to support learning objectives. Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes active participation and confidence-building. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to ensure cohesive support for each student's development.
Qualifications
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with children or young learners. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently. Strong organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and track student progress. Bachelors Degree Educated Enhanced DBS checked
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 35.00-45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
Work Location: In person
